Routine cleaning
Wipe frames with mild soapy water and a soft cloth, then rinse. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh solvents that can damage finishes.
Tracks and drainage
Vacuum or brush debris from sliding tracks and keep drain slots clear so rainwater can escape. Blocked drainage is the most common cause of water ingress in monsoon.
Hardware and seals
Check rollers, handles and locks for smooth operation and wipe gaskets clean. Lubricate moving hardware only with products suitable for the system.
Coastal homes
Rinse frames with fresh water regularly to remove salt deposits and check fixings and hardware for early signs of corrosion.
