AluK Infineo: the ultra-slim family of sliding doors and casements
Concealed frames, hidden sashes and flush hardware. This page explains what the Infineo name covers, which system fits which opening and how to see them in Belagavi.
Infineo is AluK’s minimal-frame line. It is not one product. In India it covers two systems we supply: the Infineo sliding door (S146LM) and the Infineo casement window (C87K-CS NI). Both hide the structural frame or the sash so that glass dominates.
The idea is the same across both: put the hardware and frame out of sight, leave a thin visible line and let the glass carry the view. It is a design decision first and a performance decision second. What the two Infineo systems have in common
Both come from the same design approach and are installed in the same kinds of buildings: villas, penthouses, hotels and architect-led houses. AluK India lists Infineo sliding for high-end villas, penthouses and hotels.
Specifications on AluK Home India and in.aluk.com differ on some performance figures, such as wind load and water tightness, for the sliding door. We do not print those figures here. The exact value is confirmed against the datasheet for your configuration before it goes in a quotation.

Infineo S146LM frameless sliding door
A frameless sliding door with a concealed outer frame and 21 mm interlock. Thermally broken or non-thermal sections, flush threshold, 350 or 450 kg per sash.
Infineo sliding. It gives the largest uninterrupted glass and works with a pocket-wall configuration when the wall is designed for it.
Bedroom or stair window with a view
Infineo casement. It opens outward on a hidden sash and gives the clean, framed-picture look.
Very tall or very heavy panels
Check lift and slide in parallel. Infineo sliding has published size and load limits, and lift and slide is built for openings above 3 m.
Whole wall that must open
Consider BSF70 folding. Infineo sliding opens part of the width, whereas folding opens most of it.
HONEST LIMITS
When Infineo is not the right answer
Slim does not mean strong by default, and it does not mean cheap. Infineo components are more precise and glass is larger, so installed cost is higher than for a plain slider. If the opening is a small apartment balcony, or the budget is the first constraint, a standard sliding series from our sliding windows or sliding doors range will perform well.
Infineo casement is non-insulated by catalogue line, so it is not the first choice where thermal performance matters more than sightline. In that case we look at AluK’s thermally broken casement series and use glass to control heat. The slimline versus conventional guide lays out the trade-offs.
Three checks for any Infineo quotation
Model and version
Ask for S146LM or C87K-CS NI by name and the thermally broken or non-thermal choice.
Glass build-up and weight
Large Infineo panels carry heavy glass. Ask for build-up in writing and the sash load limit for your configuration.
Written performance figures
Request the test figures from the datasheet and ask which of AluK’s pages they come from.

AluK’s own pages sometimes differ on wind load and water tightness. We confirm the figure against the datasheet for your configuration rather than publish one that may not apply.
Colour and finish across the family
AluK’s Signature Palette has eight tones: Ivory Pearl, Titanium Sand, Champagne Dune, Cocoa Bronze, Terracotta, Midnight Ash, Graphite Mist and Urban Charcoal, in matt, textured and metallic variants. AluK describes the palette as Qualicoat-certified technology with a zero-VOC process and over 20 years of durability. That last point is a manufacturer claim, not a written warranty.
We suggest you ask for the finish class and the certificate for the exact colour on your quotation, and for the written warranty terms separately. Dual-colour options let the inside match your interiors while the outside is chosen for weather.
Coordination points on Infineo projects
Infineo drawings need to be fixed earlier than normal windows. A concealed frame means the wall build-up, the pocket or recess and the floor finish are part of the window detail, not an afterthought. Bring section drawings with finished floor level, lintel depth and ceiling details. We will mark where the datasheet limits the layout.
