Hubballi-Dharwad is a twin city of about 9.4 lakh people by the 2011 census, run by the Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation, which covers around 213 sq km across 82 wards. Hubballi has the newer growth along Gokul Road, Navanagar, Unkal and Gabbur. Dharwad, on higher ground, is a little cooler and has older housing.

Small four-storey blocks are typical in RERA records, approved by the municipal corporation or by HDUDA. If you live in a society, get written consent for any change to a balcony door before ordering, and keep the opening size aligned with the approved plan.
Dust and the dry spell
From February to June, tracks and drain slots collect dust. Sliding and folding doors drain through them in July, so keeping them clear is the cheapest maintenance there is. We include a short care note at handover.

Rainfall is lower than Belagavi’s, but July and August are still heavy. Leaks usually come from blocked drain slots or poor fixing, not from the system. Ask for the drainage detail and keep tracks clean.
