GUIDE

How to Measure Windows for a Preliminary Quote

Gather the right numbers before you contact us.

What to measure

For each opening, note the width and height of the structural opening in millimetres, measured at the top, middle and bottom, and the sill height from finished floor.

What else helps

Photos of the opening and elevation, drawings if available, the floor level, and whether the opening faces the sea, a busy road or open garden.

Preliminary vs final measurement

Your figures allow a preliminary quotation. For fabrication, our team confirms every opening on site so that units are made to confirmed dimensions.

New build or renovation

In new builds, share structural drawings before plastering. In renovations, tell us about the existing frame so we can advise on removal and fitting.
